Wikipedia, like many  "Web 2.0" services, rely on the input of their users, but is that always the best option? How do you get them to do what you want and not take liberties? EVE-Online and Livejournal have both recently joined Wikimedia in having elections from their users to help guide their future. In each case though the turnout was very low, even though there was no cost to stand or vote. Can such ideas ever be practical?

Talks are what barCamp is all about; whether you unveil a new site, CSS hack, JS library, back-end framework or provide tips on mixing the ultimate cocktail is totally up to you.
