Rules of barCamp

The two main rules of barCamp are:

  1. When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers.
  2. When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world.

Presentations can be about anything you like (which does not essentially have to be anything web based) either on your own or in a group. if you are looking for inspiration have a look to see what people are saying over in our forum.

Each presentation has a 45 minute slot, to ensure that you're doesn't overrun aim for 30 minutes so there is time for questions or further discussion if required. Also remember that if you want to get from the 2nd to 6th floor you'll need some time for walking.

Keep it clean

Remember that you'll be in a working office over the weekend; we've got designated areas with enough room for everyone so there is no need to go off exploring. Leave all the rooms in the state that you find them in; before we all leave on Sunday we'll be cleaning the place up so the less mess there is the quicker we can all head to the pub!

We are putting on barCamp for free, providing food and, if required, a place to stay over night. In 'payment' for this all we ask is that you help us make it one of the best barCamps ever. The stars of any barCamp are the attendee's so make the most of the opportunity!
